As many like privacy, I have shifted to this mode.
Post here your general doubts in astrology.No particular horoscope to be taken for discussion.This column is meant for those who know some basics and want to study more. My predictions in the Q&A itself is like a lesson only.
To Ram Kumar ------------After lot of contemplation, I have decided not to answer this question. The 8th place denoting longivity will be a dangerous information to be aired in public. Many who just compare their horoscope with the general comments made here, will become panicky. So, sorry!
To Nathan ---------- They do match. That is called dosha saamya. That is, the dosha is equalled or equated. In this case, that is called kalathra dosha.Kalathra dosha boy has to marry only a girl with kalathra dosha.Minus x minus=Plus Plus x plus=Plus; Minus x plus=Minus; Plus x minus=minus.
if there is no dosha in a horoscope, that is called sudha jataka. a sudha jataka girl has to marry only a sudha jataka boy.
dear sir kumbha lagna with saturn moon mercury in leo and mars venus rahu in virgo and sun jupiter in cancer dob06081978 pob Bhubaneswar tob 19:45 hrs pm .is there any possibility of marriage?
To subramaniam -------------- Lagna is pointer to general personality of a person.So same lagna for both husband and wife will show same type of likes and dislikes.It is good for positive things. For negative matters, if both are of the same attitude who can correct them. Suppose if both of them are short tempered, what will happen? Will end up with only quarrel.
To tell you a secret, my self and my wife both are Kataka lagna.
First of all i pray to God for ur good health and speedy recovery.Lagna Lord is unconditionally benefic and a vargottam planet is unconditionally benefic even if it is Debelitated in Birth chart.Is it correct . pl comment.

The lagna house must have 25 parals out of 28.Then only the lagnam and lagnathipathi's benefits can be enjoyed.If the lagna lord go into 6,8,12 and join with natural malefics he will not have 50% strength.Then we can not say lagnathipathi is always benefic.
Yes. The vargothamam planet will gain in strength even if he is in debilitation..In my case Guru in makaram both in raasi and navamsa charts.So guru became a good benefic for me eventhough he is also the 6th lord for me.
Thanks for Clarification on doubts.I appreciate ur method of prediction based on classics combined with Desh ,Kaal , Patra and suggestion of remedies and emphasis on karma.
I read in one of the astro books that Marriage SHOULD BE avoided between Kumbha (Boy) and Simha (Girl) Raasi. Is it generally correct and applicable. Does any special case prevail/experienced wherein persons with these rasis could be husband n wife and live a happy n peaceful married life?

Would principle of desh, kaal, patra completely change a prediction? I have only known this principle to be applied in terms of knowing in which way an event might affect someone (e.g. if money loss is predicted, one must take into account whether that person is poor or rich to determine how much of a loss there would be). But does the entire prediction as seen from the chart change based on where this person lives or what nationality they are? I am a novice astrologer but I would think this would not be true.. it does not make sense. Kindly clarify. Thanks!
